As part of our Classic Range, PURIST concentrates on the art of the essential; dispensing of all that is superfluous. This series is characterised by its gently rounded handles and a broadly shaped neck.

The Material

The natural material ebonite, made on the basis of natural rubber and sulphur, is reminiscent of ebony and delivers both durability and beauty. The process of creating this shaving brush begins with each handle being turned out of solid ebonite rods. All individual pieces are then polished in several passes, giving the surface its characteristic gleam and securing its beauty for many years to come. This is then finished with chrome metal highlights.

Silvertip Fibre

A premium hair grade, this synthetic brush consists of seven different types of fibre, varying in thickness and length. This variation allows for a brush head that, without compromising on backbone, is uniquely soft and easy to manage.

Processed by hand, the Silvertip Fibre was created to provide a completely vegan, and lower maintenance product that would emulate all the benefits of a premium natural hair brush head.

Easy to care for and easy to use, the Silvertip fibre brush still produces a thick and creamy lather from small amounts of shaving soap and cream. Unlike natural hair, however, the Silvertip Fibre brush is somewhat more stable and resistant to daily wear. A little more forgiving in its maintenance, the Silvertip Fibre brush dries quickly and is more resistant to shaving soaps and creams.

Durable but suitable for even the most sensitive of skin types, Silvertip fibre is uniquely soft at its fine tips, guaranteeing a gentle and pleasant experience, without compromising on the desired backbone of a quality brush head.

The Razor

Simple and safe handling, Gillette Fusion is ideal even for newcomers. It ensures a close and gentle shave with its five-blade system and precision edging blade located on the back of the cartridge.
