The Aloe Vera Plant
A familiar cactus-like plant, Aloe Vera has been used for cosmetic and medicinal purposes for thousands of years. Reaching maturity at 3-4 years, the Aloe Vera plant can grow up to 30inches tall with large and plentiful leaves that are filled with a clear, gel-like substance rich in vitamins, minerals and essential amino acids.
